- VERSATILE COMPATIBILITY: Commonly found on class 1-2 trucks, cars, and equipment. (For use with Ford F-150/350, for use with Chevrolet 1500/3500, for use with Ram 1500/3500, etc.). Works on Bearing caps with a minimum diameter of .85". This tool has a Max opening of 5.675" and a throat depth of 2.2".
- INNOVATE DESGN FOR EASE OF USE: Using the Bearing Cap Installer is simple. Featuring an encased magnet that holds the new bearing cap in place over the yoke assembly, opposite the forcing screw. The plunger found at the end of the forcing screw allows for positioning of the second bearing cap. By applying an impact or hand wrench to the forcing screw, the first bearing cap is secured in place, allowing for the installation of the first retaining clip. After rotating the u-joint, the process is repeated.
